Toshiba hard drive

Toshiba Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of electronics and computers. It is the largest manufacturer of semiconductors in Japan.

In 2009, the company was the third largest world manufacturers of semiconductors, behind Intel and Samsung, but ahead of STMicroelectronics.

Toshiba was founded from the merger of two companies in 1939 (Tanaka Seisakujo and Hakunetsusha).
